Kevin Constant
Kevin Constant was born and raised in the Bronx.
Growing up in New York City, Kevin was inspired by the art and culture surrounding him in theatre, film, opera, dance, museums and music.
Kevin was educated at the Bronx High School of Science, State University of New York at Buffalo (B.A. in Theatre), and New York University (M.F.A. in Scenic Design).
He has worked on and off Broadway, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater and the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center, New York, and at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Kevin worked in Northern California, where he taught Scenic Design and Stagecraft at the University of California at Santa Cruz, and designed for the Tandy Beal Dance Company, Bear Republic Theater, Shire Films, and Shakespeare Santa Cruz.
Kevin has worked as a Production Designer or Art Director on many feature films and television episodes, and has traveled and worked in many cities in the United States, and also in Vancouver, Canada.
His experience as production designer in film and television includes a wide variety of styles including period films, romantic comedy, political thrillers, drama, westerns, action/adventure, horror, musical comedy, and science fiction. He is a collaborative artist that can achieve high production values on a limited budget.
Kevin lives with his beautiful wife and their three yorkshire terriers, and credits his father with giving him a love for the movies.
